The release of the much anticipated RTS Halo Wars has been annouced. Unlike earlier reports, Halo Wars is due to ship out in Feb 2009. No specific date in Feb. has been announced. There'll be two versions, the regular and the Limited Collectors Edition. The limited edition will include a bunch of goodies and the Halo 3 mythic map pack.

According to the news post on Xbox 360 Fanboy, Germany and Japan have decided that they do not want what's probably going to beone of the great games of this year in their countries. Both countries have failed to give the game a rating so Gears 2 will not be distributed there at all. Apparently Gear of war was banned in Germeny but not Japan. Even though Gears 2 will have gore and explicit language filters Japan felt it was just too much. Sucks for those guys IMO.
